What is Metaphorming?

Metaphorming can be an important catalyst to improve idea generation, teamwork and communication for everyone in your organization. Pre-work includes identifying a specific issue, opportunity, or problem. During the workshop attendees learn the Metaphorming? Process, apply it immediately to their issue, communicate their insights and learning, get feedback, and then prepare a specific plan of action. They leave feeling energized, with a new perspective on their issue, and are ready to get moving.
It will create an uncontrollable impetus in each of us to develop a vision model and plan that can enable the ignition of creative sparks inherent in each of us so that we can better generate ideas and pursue collaborative innovation.

 How the Metaphorming Process Works:
At the heart of the Metaphorming Process is "symbolic" modeling. This means, instead of just talking about ideas, participants actually build models that represent their ideas. Why guess what's on everyone's mind? Why not have everyone show and-tell what they're thinking and planning to do? Our modeling process helps people express complex thoughts simply and clearly and then moves them into action. It creates better mutual understanding and alignment around shared objectives and action plans. And it's a lot of fun.

Program Facilitator:
Titus Yong founded the Ingenio Pte Ltd and is the Director of this education and training company. It offers ingenuity, creativity and positive psychology program. Ingenio is supported by the Creative Community Singapore, a Ministry of Information, Communication and the Arts (MICA) initiative to promote creativity in industry. Titus is a certified Metaphorm It facilitator with experience as a panelist judge for the Tan Kah Kee Young Inventors Award, FIRST Robotics, and Global Startup @ Singapore Business Plan Competition.Ingenio and Titus have been recognized with the "Excellence in Innovation" Award at the Indira India Innovation Summit in Feb 2008.
