Program Overview:
- Learn to recognize and construct elusive “moments of power” during which people are particularly receptive to your requests
- Understand and practice how to effectively employ the six fundamental, powerful, and universal principles of influence which have been uncovered by contemporary psychological research
- Distinguish between ethical and unethical uses of influence so that you can avoid dishonorable traps and so that you will be able to build long-term, mutually beneficial relationships.
- Understand how to use the principles of influence during interactions with co-workers who are above, below, and lateral to you in the organizational hierarchy.
- Practice new persuasive skills in simulations that reflect common influence situations
- Learn how to recognize and manage influence attempts directed at you
- Give your staff a mental set and common nomenclature so that you can strategize more effectively when faced by business challenges.

Edward T. Brown is one of the only 25 people in the world certified to consult on, the Principles of Persuasion Workshop. Edward earned an MLA from Harvard University where his thesis was based on the connection between mindfulness and leadership. He was a consistent member of the “President’s Club” comprised of the top revenue achievers in the world during his tenure in the corporate world. Edward has worked for over 20 years consulting with Fortune 500 executives, government officials, academics, and law firm partners to uncover and address their organizational needs. Edward’s primary business interest as a consultant and instructor is to help people learn and develop the skills to communicate more effectively and successfully resolve the challenges that confront them.
