The 7th Leading People in China workshop gathered with very enthusiastic atmosphere. This time we had participant already has been to China for 13 years, also participants just came to China 4 weeks ago. The industries those participants come from ranged from electronics, home appliances, manufacturing, banking, and chemical to cosmetics, hotel and equipment. They positioned from General Manager, managing director, regional manager, division director, to R&D supervisor, senior sales manager and head Chef. There was a good combination of cultures including German, French, Swiss, Dutch, Malaysian, Singaporean, Brazilian and Jamaican.
Interaction and discussion were extremely warm this time. Many cases and a video clip were thoroughly shared and insights were exchanged among all participants. It was much pleasure to invited Mr. Peter Alatsas, GM of the Westin Shanghai; Ms. Joanna Shou, GM, Integrated Technologies, Asia Pacific, of Ingersoll Rand; Mr. Xia Chen, GM Engineering of Hella Shanghai Electronics, to join their views from Chinese, western, also professional men and women prospective for the panel discussion session in the afternoon.
All participants were well observed and received from the workshop. Challenges participants raised before the workshop were answered with support of real cases and experiences. The overall average marks for the workshop were very high. As always, Dana described the workshop as a very valuable practical knowledge passing experience.
